You shouldn't brood over someone's comment about painting flowers. Paint whatever pleases you. I remember when I first saw your paintings and they reminded me of Marjorie Kinan Rawling's, The Yearling and lo and behold....that's exactly what I was seeing. Remarkable that you paint scenes that I'd imagined from reading a book!ELizabeth Floreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10768504994727451817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318383780179348937.post-22878299651167080862009-01-05T20:00:00.000-08:002009-01-05T20:00:00.000-08:00i think in the "not knowing", you are always searc...i think in the "not knowing", you are always searching. it keeps you open to learning and growing. that is a good thing, yes?

lovely painting, carp. truly.
and lovely post, too.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18128785215358505300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-318383780179348937.post-71955373690816681542009-01-05T14:02:00.000-08:002009-01-05T14:02:00.000-08:00You could say it is not what you paint but how you...You could say it is not what you paint but how you paint. You don't paint flowers but paint with a carefree flow, you paint with a sensitivity to nature, you paint luscious color, you paint details without being too descriptive.
